COMPANY OF RUNNERS cordially invite you to strap on your drinking trousers and tie off your trail shoes to compete in a splendiferous scramble around Braintree & Bocking. We start you with the thrills of trail running, and then finish you with the spills of a brewery open day!
Your challenge should you choose to accept it, is to self navigate on a six-mile trail course in the highways and byways of Braintree & Bocking in association with the Bishop Nick Revelry Day.
This is a timed event with a start window between 11 and 11.30am. Competitors may start at any time within this window.
Please note that there will be one checkpoint on the route outside the Bocking Windmill – the Friends of Bocking Windmill are opening it especially for this event-and you may have a look inside. The start and finish will be at the Bishop Nick Brewery. All are invited to enjoy the Revelry Day starting at the brewery at 12pm. There is a Bishop Nick momento for all finishers.
There will be entries available on the day, but runners are not permitted to run with dogs under UK Athletics regulations. This event is held under UK athletics rules. A Trail Running Association permit has been applied for. We cannot permit participants aged under 18.
The trail is a mixture of surfaces so trail shoes are recommended.
All abilities welcome particularly those new to trail running.
** Online Registration closes at 8pm on the day before the race. **
